Well that was a whirlwind. The new space is finally open over on Graham Ave! There are a ton of pictures over at our , and a new website to come soon.

Wow. I appologize for the delay but things have been too crazy to write about. The DIIV record is on the billboard charts, Friends are touring Austraila, and we've gotten to make awesome records with a whole pile of bands including Stern, Electric People, Life Size Maps, Maku Soundsystem, Kleenex Girl Wonder and a bunch more. Janka Nabay was just in doing a song for the Sierra Leonean summer olympic team. Plus construction's been moving along at the , and we're only a few months from moving in. just featured our studio in a podcast about all of our in-house built gear. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Expect another update sooner than three months from now.

Construction begins again! We're back in business. Mind you our studio contractor is working on a job in Dubai but he'll be back in town in a few weeks, and there's plenty to do before he does. The current studio's been buzzing like mad as well, just wrapping up records with DIIV and Hoop Dreams. To top it off the Friends LP comes out next week. Give it a listen if you get a chance.

The New York Department of Buildings canceled for the third consecutive time this week, so we're still waiting for a plumbing inspection to get moving at the new studio again. Hopefully it won't be much longer. Records are being made. The Royal Baths, Blair, Bad Credit No Credit, and we finally finished up the second Housewives and Hard Drives album. Daniel spent a week on the road doing sound for NERVE opening for DJ Shadow, and is going back out with them for their upcoming west coast run.

It's been madness getting ready for SXSW. Everybody seems to want to have new material available to head down there with. In the studio over the last two weeks: Dive, Friends, Zulus, Alfonso Velez, Imaginarry Johnny, and our own Daniel Schlett's project White Bike Soundsystem.
Daniel will be down in texas, though I'm going to miss it myself. If you're headed down have a great time, and if not don't worry, it's always exhausting anyway.

It was a big week. First off we finally got some current music into our player, so enjoy some more recent jams. Secondly, construction finally started back up at the new space. Plumbing for the lounge and bathroom is now roughed in, which means soon we'll be installing the ceiling, after which begins the fun part.

Welcome to our new website.
While we've been building our new studio over the last year (read all about it on ) we've also been working our asses off making records at the current space. Take a look around the new site, and expect some new music in the near future.
