History
Strange Weather was born in a living room in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The original cast of characters had been floating around Philly and New York, but the time had come to find somewhere to settle down and work quietly. The house was made up of four rooms: two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor, and one shared room downstairs. It was a kitchen, living rrom, dining room, and recording studio. It was a good setup, but left a little to want in terms of privacy, isolation, and space.
The studio is now run by Marc Alan Goodman and Daniel Schlett. We've made dozens of great records in our fifth and current space on Broadway in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but we're preparing for what will hopefully be our final move to a newly designed (by Wes Lachot) space on Graham Ave. Check out the gallery for photos of the construction process.
